In keeping with this same line of thinking, we've established an ordering, payment and shipping process that we hope will make your visit to Cool Planet more user-friendly and hassle-free than most.
Ordering Process
When you select an item and add it to your cart you are immediately forwarded to your shopping cart where you can update or remove items, add the zip code and shipment destination (country or principality), have the option to checkout, or you can continue to shop. We have also included a text box where you can provide any additional ordering instructions, questions or requests.
Payment Process
We accept several forms of payment on our website such as your bank's check card (Visa or Mastercard), credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and DiscoverCard) and PayPal. Our checkout process is secure (as confirmed by the "lock" symbol located at the bottom of the checkout screen) although, if you are not comfortable with giving your financial information on-line then we also accept PayPal as a method of payment. We also offer you the option of faxing or emailing your credit card information to the number or address below.
We also accept payments by money order or cashier's check via (conventional) mail sent to the mail address noted below.
Most credit and check card orders are shipped within 1-3 days (for in-stock items). Payment by mail or fax will delay shipping until receipt and processing of payment.

Shipping Process
Typical shipping (for non-expedited items) is completed within 1-3 days for in-stock items.
All orders are shipped between Monday to Friday. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or on holidays are shipped on the next business day.
All orders are presently shipped via Federal Express. Shipping costs are based on destination, expediting and package weight.
Please note: We are presently offering free ground shipping within the Continental U.S. (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) for purchases sub-totaling $75.00 or more.

- Delivery between 1 to 5 business days within the contiguous US and between 3 to 7 business days to Alaska and Hawaii.
- Shipping and delivery days are Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for home delivery only.
- Home Delivery is not available to post office boxes.

- Service days are Monday through Friday, with Saturday pickup available in many areas for an additional charge.

- Delivers in 2 business days by 4:30 p.m. to most areas and by 7 p.m. to residences. (Delivery to some rural areas of Alaska and postal codes in Hawaii in 3 business days).

Shipping Disclaimers
Overnight delivery does not necessarily mean your purchase will be delivered the next day. We make every attempt to ship expedited orders on the same day, dependant upon when your order was placed and received. You should receive your expedited shipment(s) within 1-2 days after the order has been processed. We do not ship orders on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. A signature may be required for acceptance of deliveries.
Estimated delivery time for items we have in stock is from date of shipment provided no problems occur with your local customs office. Cool Planet is not to be held responsible for any delivery problems with your respective customs department or the selected shipper.
Our international shipping rates reflect the base shipping charge for the selected carrier and does not include customs duties, taxes and country specific fees. Cool Planet will not be held responsible or liable for any problems that arise out of the possible lack of payment of these fees from your local customs office. Cool Planet will also not be held responsible for any additional fee the local carrier in your country may charge. No refunds will be given for items that are seized at your local customs office.
Back Orders
Occassionally, there may be items in your order that are out-of-stock when purchased. In such a case, we will ship your in-stock item(s) immediately and the balance of your order will be shipped upon receipt into our inventory at no additional shipping cost to you. In the case of items out of production or a long lead time, you will be notified as to your choice of a refund or exchange of the undelivered item(s).
