Opened or used merchandise that is damaged or otherwise defective due to a manufacturing process, may be exchanged for an equivalent item of equal cost within 30 days of purchase with a valid original receipt and original packaging (if applicable). If after 30 days, please consult the manufacturer’s warranty (if applicable) and contact the product manufacturer to return the product.

If the product you are requesting has a lower value than the product you are returning, you will be issued a store credit for the difference and any applicable tax. Credits may be applied to any future purchase.
Confirmation
You will receive a confirmation email (or phone call if you do not have access to email) once your return is received. We will inform you at that time if additional information is required to process your exchange. All eligible exchanges will be mailed within 7 days after we receive your return and original receipt. If you are requesting an exchange and the item you are requesting an exchange for is out of stock, we will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your request. You will have the opportunity to either request an exchange for a different item, request a store credit to be used for a future purchase, or we will backorder the product and it will be shipped to you as soon as it is available.
Shipping costs
All returns and/or exchanges are to be sent with postage prepaid by the customer. Cool Planet will pay to ship any returned/exchanged merchandise back to the customer, via ground delivery service. The customer may request expedited delivery, however the customer will be responsible for any additional costs related to expediting their shipment.
